Rev. Jenell Mahoney will reflect on the book The Prophetic Imagination by theologian Walter Brueggemann—a 20th century classic that still speaks powerfully into our 21st century world. What do the prophets of ancient Israel—and Jesus himself—have to say to a time like ours, marked by inequality, uncertainty, and upheaval?

Are we facing divine judgment or the natural consequences of ignoring God’s covenant of justice and compassion? More importantly—is there still hope?
