Standing Ovations & Sacred Spaces: Welcoming The Bakersfield Balladeers

Change can often lead to unexpected blessings! While we will miss hearing Ken Burdick’s Broadway and Opera selections this month, we are so grateful to host The Bakersfield Balladeers for our next Dukes Concert on March 15 at 4:00 PM.

Known as some of the most talented up-and-coming musicians in our city, the Balladeers bring a powerful energy to the stage. The group features:

• Mauro A. Laris (Vocals)

• James O'Hearn (Piano)

• Joshua Forquera (Vocals)

Their program is a "best of" for music lovers, ranging from the soaring heights of Nessun Dorma and La Donna e Mobile to the sophisticated jazz-influence of Gershwin. Whether you love the drama of the Opera or the nostalgia of the Great American Songbook, there is a seat at the table (and in the pew) for you.
