A Warm Meal and a Brighter Community: Join Us This Thursday!

At First Congregational Church of Bakersfield, we believe that sharing a meal is one of the simplest ways to live out Jesus’ call to love our neighbors. That is why on the third Thursday of every month, we open our doors for the Neighborhood Café.

Our goal is simple: to offer food, dignity, and community to anyone who walks through our doors. There is no agenda and no cost—just a hot, delicious dinner and the chance to sit down with friends, old and new.

Event Details:

• When: Tomorrow, Thursday, December 18, 2025.

• Serving Time: 5:00 PM (Winter hours).

• Where: Plymouth Hall at FCC Bakersfield.

• Capacity: We are serving the first 100 people.

We want to give a massive shout-out and thank you to Coconut Joe’s! They are generously providing our meal and dessert this month. We are so grateful for their partnership in feeding our community.

Whether you are looking for a hot meal or just a bit of fellowship, our table is open to you. As an Open and Affirming congregation, we truly mean it when we say everyone is welcome.
