All God's creatures are welcome!

Join us for our annual Blessing of the Animals, a joyful outdoor worship service celebrating the pets and animal companions who bring so much love, comfort, and laughter into our lives.

We're delighted to welcome our friends from the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Kern as we celebrate together in our church courtyard.

Bring your dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, turtles, or other animal companions. We'll have flavored puppy bubbles for our furry visitors, and OceanRay Rescue will join us with adorable dogs looking for their forever homes.

Help us share the love!

We'll also be collecting dog food donations for the Bakersfield Pet Food Pantry, which helps local families who need a little help feeding their pets.

The blessing service begins at 10 AM and lasts approximately 30 minutes. The celebration continues until noon.

For everyone's safety, pets must be friendly and safely leashed, crated, or under their caretakers' control.

No pet? No problem! Come enjoy the celebration. Animal lovers of all ages are welcome!
